Remembrance Sunday falls on Sunday 8 November 2026. Basildon Borough Council has not published this year’s service times yet. Last year it listed six services across the borough, one in each of the main towns.

Basildon Borough Council listed these services and said each would include speeches, wreath laying and “a minute’s silence at 11am to remember the fallen” (Basildon Council).

The council said the marches would include local Armed Forces members, veterans, cadet groups and representatives of the emergency services.
