The lowest ratings
Mickys Catering, 71a Runwell Road, Wickford: rated 1 on 12 August (register entry). The register lists it as a restaurant or café. The inspector’s scores explain the rating:
- confidence in management: “major improvement necessary”
- hygienic food handling: “generally satisfactory”
- the condition of the building: “very good”
The management score covers food safety procedures and records. The register does not say what the inspector found in detail.

Neither business has published a right to reply on the register. Any business can appeal a rating within 21 days, and can ask for a new inspection once it has made improvements. When a rating changes, we will report it.
